The International Loving Touch Foundation's Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) training is a nationally accredited program that offers continuing education hours for healthcare professionals. (See Accreditations and CEU Hours)
CLASS SUMMARY
Participants will become Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI®) qualified to teach parents/primary caregivers how to massage their newborns and children (zero to three). The training is presented through lecture, audio-visual aids, discussion, and hands-on participation with dolls through a demonstration lab with parents & their newborns.
The CIMI® evidence-based program is designed for Nurses, Massage Therapists, Early Intervention Specialists, Occupational and Physical Therapists, Developmental Specialists, Childbirth Educators, Parent Educators, Child Life Specialists, Social Workers and other interested professionals who work with families of young children.
