About Me: Jan received her certificate of graduation from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in their Medical Massage Program, Massage Therapist Connecticut Licensed, and is certified through National Certification of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB). She has been trained in the massage techniques of Swedish, sports, medical, acupressure, MotherMassage®, Reiki and Infant Massage Instruction.
Jan has also been a certified labor doula through Doulas of North America (DONA) since 2000. She works with laboring women offering them emotional and physical support during the birth of their babies.
By becoming an Infant Massage Instructor, Jan is now able to complete a circle from prenatal, to birth, to assisting with the bond a parent has with their baby in a rewarding way for all involved.
Jan is a current member of the CT Chapter of American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and Doulas of North America (DONA).
