About Me: I am occupational therapist who has specialized in pediatrics. For the past 7 years, I have worked with premature babies and their families in a neonatal intensive care unit. I have found being able to teach parents infant massage in the neonatal intensive care setting a very rewarding experience for both the parent and their baby. I have found it especially beneficial in regards to family bonding and attachment.
Prior to working on the neonatal intensive care unit, I have worked in a variety of settings with babies and children as an occupational therapist in Chicagoland area. Since I have become certified in parent infant massage, I primarily utilize infant massage in my work setting but have always been willing to teach in other settings other than my place of employment. Being able to teach a parent infant massage is a beautiful experience and I am honored to be part of that experience.
