I am currently working as a Child Life Specialist in the NICU and Surgery Dept at Woodhull Medical Center (NYC), serving children and their families in providing psychosocial support services. I was interested in CIMI to promote parent and child bonding and to offer families in the NICU an additional support that would foster family centered care and overall positive coping. ILTF has allowed me to work with families in providing this wonderful service and the parents that have received infant massage instruction have given positive feedback and have really enjoyed the sessions.
