- About Me
My name is Melissa S. Hills and I am the Family Yoga Teacher at Yoga Hillsboro. In April 2010 I received my Graduate Certificate in Infant Toddler Mental Health (ITMH) from Portland State University. It was through this program that I was introduced to the many benefits of infant massage for both infants and caregivers. During my ITMH practicum I provided trainings to Early Head Start (EHS) parents and teachers to heighten awareness, promote, and increase knowledge of ITMH principles and practices.
I teach infant massage to improve the lives of infants and caregivers. I believe that infant massage is a valuable relationship-based approach that supports infants and toddlers in developing secure attachments with their primary caregivers. I have deep empathy and respect for infants and caregivers. As an advocate and resource for ITMH in my community and I am thankful that I am able to provide infant massage training to families in my community.- My Webpage
